Intelligent Storage Racks for SMT Components
AccuCart™ is a pick-to-light smart rack and storage system for SMT operations. It comes in three variants (reel rack, feeder rack, and stencil rack), each built for a specific material handling challenge on the production floor.
Every AccuCart™ variant is built around sensor-based slot detection and web-based software, keeping inventory accurate in real time without manual scanning or data entry. The same slot-sensor technology is also available inside a humidity-controlled Smart Dry Box.
Reel Storage Rack
Expedite Kitting and Line-Side Component Storage
The AccuCart™ reel rack is designed to speed up component kitting and line-side storage of electronic parts. Each slot is equipped with an opto-mechanical sensor that provides error-free reel detection. The mechanical design stays reliable even when the cart is moved between storage and production areas.
Slot widths are adjusted by installing or removing dividers to accommodate tape widths from 8 mm to 72 mm. Changes in tape width are recognized automatically by the software, so no reconfiguration is needed. Web-based software lets authorized users access the system from anywhere, and a plug-in concept lets users write custom integration software that operates fully under their own control.
Feeder Storage Rack
Quickly Locate Any Part Number Without Scanning the Reel
For operations that keep reels loaded on feeders, the AccuCart™ feeder rack reads each feeder's electronic ID and cross-references the placement machine database to identify the loaded part number automatically. Users do not need to scan the reel before inserting the feeder onto the rack. Part identification is fully automatic.
The feeder rack shares the same software interface as the reel storage system, providing consistent inventory management across both storage types. Currently supports Fuji feeders; support for additional placement machine brands is available upon request.
Stencil Storage Rack
Accurate Stencil Inventory for Smooth SMT Operations
The AccuCart™ stencil rack applies the same sensor-based intelligence to stencil management. Optical sensors detect when a stencil is inserted, and a spring-loaded ejector assists the operator in removing it, so no manual effort is needed to free a stencil from its slot.
Stencil information is stored in the database automatically on each insertion, maintaining an accurate inventory of which stencils are on-hand, where they are located, and when they were last used.

Opto-Mechanical Slot Sensors
Each slot has a dedicated opto-mechanical sensor for reliable reel detection. It minimizes false calls compared to simpler optical-only approaches, even in dusty production environments.
Pick-to-Light Guidance
Slot indicators guide operators directly to the correct location for every putaway and pick. Kitting errors and new-operator training time both drop sharply.
Adjustable Slot Width: 8 mm to 72 mm
Removable dividers let each slot accommodate tape widths from 8 mm to 72 mm. Software automatically detects the new slot size, so no setup or reprogramming is needed when tape widths change.
Feeder Variant (Fuji)
The AccuCart™ feeder rack reads each Fuji feeder's built-in electronic ID and cross-references the placement machine database to identify the loaded part number. No reel scanning is needed, and part identification is fully automatic.
Stencil Variant
Optical sensors detect stencil insertion. A spring-loaded ejector assists removal. Stencil information is stored in the database automatically, with no manual logging required.
Web-Based Software
The web-based software interface lets authorized users access the AccuCart™ pick-to-light system from anywhere, with no dedicated workstation required. Every placement and removal is captured and visible in real time.
